Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. The Keyboard layouts doc he recommends explains layout goals and metrics in detail, summarizing the alt layouts discussed here as well as more than one hundred others. But i would be better off buying it with keycaps from a dutch store here in Netherlands That would cost me €171 or €179 depending on the store.. But getting it from mass drop..would mean an extra 21% tax + 10% DHL custom fees.. Making the total of the Barebones model €195 hahahaha..

Maybe if there's a big demand you could get additional equipment to make the process cheaper / faster?
What do you think? On geek hack people told me that lubing was the only solution dealing with sound.. i can agree with that statement but i also think the way a keyboard is build plays a significant part in resonance.. but that's only my current logic..
