I received mine and the lock release is extremely stiff. I tried leaving at 90 degrees for 3 days as I read it might help. Frankly, it made it easier to open the blade but has not helped the lock release issue. I know the Cold Steel locks are a little stiffer than most but this particular one is at the point of ridiculous. Can anyone help?
Hey Guys,
Most of the orders hit the shipment cutoff time today, and the few remaining orders will go out first thing tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your patience!

The vendor is still preparing the groups order for shipment. As soon as we receive shipping confirmation we will update the group.

Hey everyone,
We’ve submitted our order for Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto shortly after the drop ended.
Now that the order has been placed, Cold Steel is preparing it for shipment. In the meantime, we will also be getting our warehouse ready to handle the reshipment of the product to everyone as soon as it arrives.
Expect an update on Friday or sooner if something comes up.
Cheers!
NonKonnektionNot A chance mate , this would be legal to own here in Oz but customs will take this if you try to import.
I own a clip point recon 1 and its a great knife especially for the price it can be had for.
unfortunatly you wont import one into Australia as it easily fails customs inertia opening test.
Get a Buck 110 that would be legal to import.
