Video warning: crazy white dudes with axes using really awful form and a bit of cultural appropriation to slice apart animal remains. Technically, no animals were harmed in the making of this video?
Another fair point about the irony there that I hadn't considered
I've seen the tests with tatami wrapped bamboo.... I think that's what they were trying to emulate with slicing the big cardboard tubes? Hahaha
Damn...I love Cold Steel testing videos. What was up with the WWF looking dude? What the hell does that guy do at Cold Steel other than smash pig heads? I own both the Gang Hatchet and the Trail Hawk because I have a habit of buying stupid sh*t online, when I'm drunk. The Trail Hawk's handle shattered to pieces on the first day of use. Probably due to user error as I was throwing it like an idiot at a tree. I have done some minimal chopping on our farm with the Gang Hatchet and it actually worked pretty well chopping a few fallen branches off a fence line when the chainsaw wasn't working. Still this video gets one thumbs down due to the lack of at least one sweaty overweight guy in a red satin shirt and tie hacking away at animal remains.
I kowtow to your tactical tacticalness. Clearly I am unworthy, and should not buy this tomahawk. Perhaps I should get a tactical spoon to take into combat.
Have you watched that video? At 11+ minutes long I had to stop halfway through. WOW!! Can you imagine the buffoonery that occurs working at Cold Steel?!?!? That one bald dude seems like he must head up the Anger Management Dept of Human Resources. Just so ridiculous. But for $37 a Trench Hawk Combat Tomahawk seems to be well worth it I guess. Think it needs a few more words in it title though, if only it were a Tactical Trench Hawk Combat Tomahawk! Still for $37 how can you go wrong? Let's all get one!!! Would love to see a RMJ tomahawk drop, I would definitely pop on that!!
