Even with professional photography this pen looks like garbage. You can get this piece of crap on eBay for about 1/4 the cost. But in my opinion, save your money.

BIOWORKZI get that. It was just a response so others would see that it's not a rip-off, and apparently from people that have received it, they don't think it's garbage. It's not to my tastes either, but I like to at least defend these small businesses from slurs against their products, as these sales, especially this time of year, are pretty key.

Massdrop absolutely making a killing on this drop. This pen is worth 9 dollars basically on any other website. People coming at me saying this one is authentic and that's why it's priced at 23 dollars seriously need to wake up.

Heavy is good.
Slippery not good.
Slippery can be fixed easily.
As far as clones.
Can't say.
For $22 and MassDrop to cover me.
I'll stay here.

$6.98 on AliExpress, with 2 refills. Also comes in a solid brass version for a couple of dollars more. In my experience, it takes longer for Massdrop orders to arrive than the shipping direct from China.

ThirdmemberA lot of times, things look the same, but the quality isn't the same. I've had that happen with things on MD that people link saying they're the same but cheaper. Not saying that's going on here, but definitely food for thought.

I've been using this pen for over 8 months now, and I got it for 10 bucks off ebay. C'mon, now. MSRP $55? lol

Literally every one of their products is all over ebay/aliexpress for a fraction of the price.
Given that they're of identical quality, which are you more willing to believe: 1. That a singular boutique manufacturer of high quality pens have had every one of their designs stolen and replicated with 1:1 quality for a fraction of the price by thousands of Chinese manufacturers? Or: 2. That CC, like thousands of other companies, are engaged in what's called "drop shipping", wherein they order their product in bulk directly from the manufacturer and resell it at a profit to their customers to meet demand.
I think 2 is much, much more likely. You're certainly not on the hook to prove me wrong, and you're entitled to your own opinion. Cheers.

MakazeHikariI know personally, at least in a few cases, 2 is not right- it's more the law of quantity than anything else. But you're right, I'm not on the hook to prove you wrong, or me right, which is why I tried to end the conversation above.

Looks a great deal like my fellhoelter ti-bolt that I picked up on MD a couple years ago. It's my favorite pen and has ridden in my pocket almost every day since then. I anodized it myself over the kitchen stove.

So ive been emailing back and forth with massdrop reguarding this drop. Seems like im not the only person having shipping info issues. Massdrop just today emailed back and said my order was lost? And they already processed a refund. looks like mine was not the only order lost. If you still havent recieved you pen id definitley email massdrop for a refund. I dont know how so many orders were “lost” but almost seems like a scam. This was my first ever order from massdrop and might be my last. They said they cant get me a replacement because they only had the exact number of pens for the order... but they also told me the pen was shipping directly from the manufacturer. So if its shipping from the company that makes it l, they should definitly have more! Smells like a scam to me. Theyre probably just hoping people wont email and complain so they can just keep your hard earned money without giving out products in return.

Willie1321from what i understand is they produce them and ship to massdrop and massdrop send to consumers !!
