PawnerdAs another osu! player, having more than two switches is pretty great. Having one for escape, for the arrow keys, etc. is a requirement in my books, and a big reason of why I never used an osu! pad I picked up. He also might be a mania player, or taiko, where you would want 2 or more keys in a row for each hand. I am considering picking one up in reds, but I also wish something like Gateron Clears were an option. These look like a great choice for a lower cost, high quality, high performance pad, but I find myself preferring the even lighter feel of the Gat Clears or my XMIT board. Still damn tempting, though!
SIRENBLUEYes, under the hood they work as simple keyboards. So you could
use as many as you want.
To program one of them, you have to put it in dfu mode. If you only put one of the two keyboards in dfu mode, you will also only program a single one.
PawnerdWell my initial set up was to have one act as the arrow cluster and the other as the nav cluster to simulate a TKL along with my Plum 75 Nano, and combined with a numpad to simulate a full-size keyboard. Unfortunately the sixkeyboard can't be programmed to map the nav cluster buttons. It's a really stupid and silly arrangement...
PawnerdWell, the sixkeyboard I was able to map was configured so there are only 4 keys in an arrow cluster arrangement. I looked around and found those two-key "osu keyboards" as you described. Currently I have osu left click and right click remapped to left arrow and right arrow. This way I can also use it for Stepmania.
@pyrobunny I hadn't thought of that! I might configure my other sixkeyboard in the arrangement you described and see how that feels. Counting them all so far...:
2x Knops x Cooler Master Maker Hub Mini Macro Keyboard
2x sixkeyboard
2x osu custom macro pads from Etsy
Lol, and to add to that my Max Falcon Mini Macro Pad... This is what happens when you're done hunting keyboards.
DEADicationhaha, that's quite a collection :'). I hope you will like your knops mini keyboards, since you do have some experience with these kind of devices. Yesterday I posted this keyboard to the subreddit of Osu players and see that many of them have joined. I think most people that play osu! will agree with you on the usefullness of a second (or fifth lol) little keyboard.
