Bit of a tease to feature four colours in the top banner splash when only three are offered in the drop.
Sad to see no silver or black, but as has been suggested, these are probably cheap because of surplus inventory of unpopular colours. Looks like a nifty little stand, though. Hrm.
How flat does it fold? It would be helpful to put some dimensions in the listing copy.

Anodised finishes are WAY more durable than any paint, and look better.
Plus black can be "hard" anodised, instead of "soft" anodising used for colours. Hard anodising is much thicker and more durable again. Aluminium oxide is harder than steel, and anodising is a solid crystalline layer of that oxide. Paint doesn't even compare.

I have joined this drop before and I have to warn you that they break easily. Yes, it is made of aluminium, but the bottom end parts are made of plastic. Without those plastic parts, the aluminium is meaningless.

KITTYSame experience here. One of the plastic pieces just snapped in half a couple of weeks after I got it. Ridiculously brittle material.

Would there be any way to change the color request for those of us who have already ordered? Supposing the vendor would cooperate, I would love to change my color request to Silver for the same price instead of the Blue I went with.

Actually I believe that shouldn't be an issue. Though it would be Massdrop that has the ability to do that. I will pass the message over to them, but my suggestion would be for you to contact their customer service as well so they can change it for you. As a vendor we only supply the products to Massdrop. It is Massdrop that handles all the shipping to you all.

chieHe means, eliminate the plastic on the feet, replacing it with an all aluminum design, and then have the rubber be applied to that. It is entirely possible, and something that would make this product MUCH nicer.
