Oh my god, I've been waiting for these to come to MassDrop. Any serious artist should consider getting them too, they're amazing. They're normally incredibly expensive, currently the same pack is $215 on Amazon. This drop is worth it.
Do these markers have a good shelf life? I see they really are an excellent deal after comparing to discount art retailers and Amazon. However, I don't think I'll be using them right away. If I put them on the shelf for 6 mos or a year, are they going to evaporate or get gunky?
LuvmypendThey last long time. I’ve had my set for several years and some have sat mostly unused. Still goes on smooth with no clogging provided they’re capped properly. Also the nibs are replaceable and you can buy ink to refill the marker if they ever go dry. It’s one of the reasons why they are expensive.
So worth at 4.16 USD each.
Those who are new to Copics:
Copics are just like Prismacolor markers, but they are refillable. Each tank of refilling ink can refill the sketch about 5 to 8 times. Also Copic's ink color are fairly stable in that even if you buy very old Copics used and compare it to the Copics of today the color is the same.
Also the Sketch markers can be fit into their air brush system.
So if you are new to markers get these. You will not regret it. These are just about the best quality you can buy.
I forgot to add: If somebody who doesn't know how to use Copic that buys these. Also go and buy a Blender (#0) marker from your local art store. You need it to wet the paper and move colors around. As the blender isn't included in this set. You need to use the blender if you want a single smooth color. Well it's pretty smooth without but if you want non-texture coloring blender makes the magic happen.

Just a side note if somebody mention why I didn't go for this drop.... I already have my collection of Copics and buying this will be a royal waste of money as it will double up most of the set.
So the title of the drop says Copic Sketch, but the description says the markers have a chisel tip and a fine tip, which is the regular Copic marker. Can someone clarify?
sarahgaocomboHi sarahgaocombo,
This is the sketch set which includes a slanted chisel nib on one side, and a flexible super brush on the other. We have updated the specs section to reflect this, thanks for catching that!
Cheers,
