You can get a 16gb flash drive on Amazon for $8... Two of those would be half the price of this drop with the same amount of storage. Go with the 64gb version, guys.

Also the reasoning behind having this drop and the 64GB version run in parallel is beyond me.

This could be even more useful if it could be used as an emergency, grifitti lichen-style micro-USB charging cable.

Looks like write speeds are the Achilles Heel of this product. We're talking as low as 17MB/sec to 22MB/sec in real-world usage. Still better than most USB 2.0 drives out there, but that's pretty rough. Read speeds on the other hand are 120-170MB/sec.

Corsair makes good usb stick ,have the survivor version for some years and never fail me. Want to buy the voyager version but 16 GB is a bit too less for me ,how about a 32g or 64g one?
