I purchased one of these from an earlier drop and I absolutely love it. There's a certain satisfaction from owning a well crafted piece of metal that will last a lifetime. I love the clever design of being a belt hook and a bottle opener. It's a bit on the heavy side, but that's a plus in my opinion because it is indestructible.
mrk7045I never had a problem with it on my belt loop, at first I was very cautious. However, I tend to tuck the keys into my pocket and I rarely leave Jack dangling.
lazerusThanks for your suggestion. I'm looking more for a train rather than a carabiner or key system but it seems like chains are really unpopular right now so there's not many options.
This may be a dumb question, but the description mentions a lifetime warranty. Is that still held true by Corter? Asking since I noticed "Final Sale" at the bottom of the page...
So my bottlehook came with a regular shiny metal split ring. Not the same as the split ring pictured in this drop. I checked the corter leather website and those seem to come with the same color split ring as shown in the photos of this drop. This is slightly misleading. I hope next time more attention is paid to the details of the photos that should be showing exactly what we get
BootlegGucciThats weak because the rustic looking split ring in the pics was one of the first things I noticed, besides the tool that's in one of the pics attached to the keychain. It has a tamper, a solid metal rod for poking, and a very small spoon. Made me laugh hard, not just lol. I used to have one of those back in the day. Can't believe it ended up in a pic on Massdrop. lol

I used to carry this and it definitely is a nice key ring and bottle opener. The leather piece attracts dirt easily but that's a small complaint. It's sitting in a drawer somewhere now.
rossonerithis hook is such a conversation starter. That leather bit is my favorite part it builds character fast, I've forced a patina on a brass hook and it turned out very nice with blues and oranges in a subtle way .
Been using my copper one for weeks now and this is the nicest bottle opener I've had bar-none. And believe me, I've collected a few for my EDC including Titanium ones. Super comfortable and ergonomically sound.
@Massdrop, that photo in your Description opening the bottle is misleading as you're supposed to use the other end near the tip in reverse motion. That one you're using is the thicker part and won't work.
