Designed by Jeff Park, who works with and studied under legendary knifemaker Ken Onion, the Crossbones won 2017 Import Knife of the Year at Blade Show. Made from two-toned aluminum with a diamond pattern for grip, the slim handle has fluted edges for an even more slimming look. The svelte samurai-style blade is highly maneuverable in tight spaces. It’s made from easy-to-sharpen AUS-8 stainless steel with a satin finish. Shaped like a modified tanto with a trailing point, it allows for more wrist extension when cutting. The fine point allows access to hard-to-reach areas, while the full-flat grind is ideal for slicing. For tip-up carry on the right side it comes with a deep-carry clip, too.
Note: Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
When your very first design wins Import Knife of the Year at Blade Show 2017, you know you’ve done something right. After walking into Ken Onion’s Kaneohe, Hawaii workshop in 2005, Jeff Park found a friend, and a craft, he would keep for life. Ever since that fateful day, Park has been training under Onion—but he’s never created a knife of his own . . . until now. Designed with input from Ken, but made according to Park’s own unique style, the Crossbones rides the line between form and function beautifully, just like Ken Onion’s own designs. A detail-oriented craftsman, Park has learned a thing or two over the years in the shop. And it certainly shows in his debut.
