While the M16 may be Kit Carson’s most widely recognized knife design, the M4 is his most popular. This version comes appointed with a combination handle of G-10 and white bone Read More
svtcobra00They're saving me money. They keep putting out interesting knives that I would otherwise buy, but thanks to the gimp steel and questionable quality I don't get tempted! Thanks cricket!
I've actually been looking for a nice 2 tone / bolstered look handle with natural materials, and this handle is mighty classic looking
What I HAVEN'T been looking for is spring assisted, tip down carry 8cr13mov 😒
HballLol no worries. Sooo many to look at, so easy to confuse them.
The swordfish is a very nice knife. My only real complaint there is that the detent isn't strong enough to stop a "gravity assist" opening. Other than that I highly recommend 👍
Why is massdrop so terrible at actually getting deals these days? At the lowest price, this is still $5 more than what's offered on Amazon US. These drops are becoming irrelevant.
PGAlbertoTrue, not every drop is a killer deal, but there are a good proportion of excellent deals. The Fallkniven S1 drop is about $50 lower than anybody else.
Their collaborations are pushing the envelope for innovation.
Most of the time, Massdrop hits on a good deal... The value may include something different, something odd, something really special that may not be available anywhere else, something exclusive, upgraded materials, and/or it almost always it's offered at a fair or lower (much lower) price. This knife doesn't appear to fit anyone of those conditions :(
OK... wait a minute... it is kind of cool looking, but... that's it I guess.
Does anyone else see tip-down and immediately get turned off? It's too bad because I actually like the looks of this one. Carson's knives are almost all like that.

The Amazon.COM price is $47.27, ( https://amzn.to/2Y5MSwF ) so this time Massdrop does have a better deal.
If you are reading the comments below, how Amazon has the same price, that is old news, things have changed.
I honestly love this knife; as an everday carry, it's not too big or small. It's solid and durable, has a nice classic look, and springs into action with auto-assist. I was happy with the investment when I picked it up at TARGET for $32.99. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever understand what makes Massdrop think that any price they have offered a CRKT knife has been fair as of yet; CRKT knives can easily be found for a cheaper price with a very simple internet search.
Picked this up for $17 at Academy Sports, one lucky clearance sale long ago. Normally sold for $50. Well-made, handsome knife, though the blade is too thick for my preference. Biggest downside is the jimped liner sticking up at the thumb; I have never been able to get comfortable with it. Still, it gets more compliments than almost any other knife I've carried, thanks to its distinctive coloring.
