This is the perfect steak knife. I use at every restaurant I go to where I know I will order a steak or chops. Super light, super sharp and easily carried int he pocket, this little knife is a great steak knife.

Got a callus on my thumb from opening this one handed but if you do it right, it snaps open like it has outburst (it doesn’t). The slim profile makes it disappear when clipped in my front pocket. The best knife is the one you have with you, and this one has been with me since I got it, while my much thicker new outburst knife stays on my desk.

Love this knife's style and feel, disappears in the pocket and opens like lightning once you get used to it. Only gripes are tip down carry, would love the ability to swap to tip up, and the blade is slightly thicker then expected and hampers its ability to be a good cardboard cutter.

Good build. Difficult to open for the new buyer. Once you find the wet spot, opens every time. Like an executive letter opener but could be used in self defense.

Love the style of the knife. It is a little hard to flip open with one hand because it is so thin, but I think after breaking it in it will be fine.

Shirt pocket friendly

The size and shape make it easy to disappear in the pocket. The blade is nice and sharp but I'm just not a fan of the deployment. The newer version with a flipper tab is much easier to open.

this is interesting because the fit/finish on mine is perfect and the blade has a consistent geometry and is shaving sharp all the way down. My only gripe is the thumb stud takes some practice and could have been better designed. If I had a metal lathe, I'd just make a new one for it that was a smidge bigger. But for a jeans pocket knife, I love the shape, geometry, and size, so getting used to the thumb stud is worth it. If you need to open a knife ten times a day for work, I definitely wouldn't recommend it though. I wonder if the first batch may have been rushed out the door because people were clamoring for this and CRKT wanted to capitalize on the hype.
