USPS just dropped mine off.
Seriously, this thing is TINY! I can get 2.5 fingers on the handle...
Can someone tell me how to use the....clip...? Sort of C shaped doohickey with c-sink hole and a flathead screw/nut combo... Doesn't seem to fit the knife or the sheath, though the sheath has a single hole of similar R.
This video refers to "belt clip", in which case it's a TERRIBLE design.
SpecialEdThe body of clip goes behind your belt. One hook goes under the belt. The sheath goes behind the clip against your body. You can angle the clip so both hooks are grabbing the belt. You can arrange it handle up or handle down or close to horizontal. When you pull on the knife the opposite clip will grab your belt.
You can replace the clip with something more secure like a tek-lok.
I don't personally carry knives on my belt but these clips seem pretty flexible. Surprisingly hard to find info about them online though.
awkThanks, that's a great explanation, and now, seems the only possible option.
The confusing part is the sheath isn't flat, the clip is, and a single screw is not going to mate the parts sufficiently. Glue is a better option, the screw would hold things together while the glue bonds.
Tek-Lok are nice, but larger than this entire product ;)
SpecialEdScrew works fine, the clip is flexible. I was carrying my Civet this weekend around the house while doing projects, yardwork, etc. and it was very convenient. I tried it in a few different positions. It's also fine to just toss sheathed in a pocket. Just wanted to try it out on my belt.
Never though of gluing it...glue would keep the parts from shifting as you sit/move. And polypropylene is almost impossible to bond effectively with household products.
