Looks like an enjoyable knife. Unfortunately CRKT puts their name on so many turds these days, that I won't take the chance anymore. For the price, Aus8 is a bit underwhelming as well. Some of these big knife companies really need to get their sh** together, CRKT included. I wish Kershaw would do more US made knives like their M390 Link and Dividend. CRKT should do something similar.

Over-ConsumerI have a couple fixed blades from CRKT that I like, but most of their folders that I own have achieved EveryDayLeaveInDraw status. This includes the Hammond Cruiser and the M16-01KS. I do like their Endorser, altho I find the safety thumb stud a bit annoying. (You have to push it in before you can open the knife with it.)

Over-ConsumerYes, I have the Crossbones and am not a big fan. Also have the M390 Knockout and Dividend. Both are nicer and a greatnesses value with that steel. I have been carrying the Knockout for a couple months and just stropping has maintained the edge. Switch to the Dividend if my pants require something smaller and lighter. I know some do not like assisted openers but I am fine. I just want the knife to open smoothly no matter the mechanism. Also picked up some Cold Steel knives that were about $75(after EBay coupon) that were good deals with CTS-XHP and S35vn steel. There marketing is a bit juvenile but decent knives overall. I used to have issues with the Triad lock being to hard to release but these last few knives have been much smoother.

14themoneySame here. I like the OC3 fixed blade a bunch. I have both the Cruiser and some variation of the M-16 I picked up on sale and am not a fan of either. Do not understand why the M-16 knives are so popular.
