Flavio Ikoma Shakes Up the Industry Again
Designed by Flavio Ikoma, who helped pioneer the IKBS pivot opening system, the CRKT Seismic Deadbolt employs yet another innovative mechanism. Called the “Deadbolt,” this lock features steel bolts that are interlocked with the blade and liners, resulting in outrageous strength for heavy duty cuts. Closure can be achieved with a simple press on the button, like your typical button lock. The Seismic is armed with a 3.7-inch blade made from 1.4116 stainless steel for good edge retention. The handle is long and grippy thanks to the textured G-10 scales, and it comes with a tip-up clip that can be fastened on either side.
