I've been using FP for about 35 years, not as a collector (though I have a small collection), but as a daily user. Given , especially, the retreat from gold nibs, I'm especially pleased with this Cross with the Sailor nib. Nice heft, smooth line, it is not embarrassed to be in the company of my Meisterstuck Diplomat (old school, 14K nib, 18k came later !), my Parker Duofold, or my Waterman Edson.
