Keep in mind, though, that you'll be saving $1.50 and then waiting nearly a month to receive the knife. It all depends on if you want it right now, or a long time from now. How much is your time worth?
If 28.99+8.47 shipping(to canada)=$37.46 On the other hand, Amazon.ca is selling it for 33.79 with free and faster shipping. I think we just need to be a bit more competitive here
I got mine, but it has issues closing. The part that locks seems to maybe be a little too tall, making it difficult to close. Is this inherent in the design?
I spoke to mass drop and they stated that the knife was designed to be this hard to close. A call to kershaw had them recommending me to send it in for repair. I'm not really sure it's worth it as shipping it would cost almost a forth of the cost of the knife.
registered99Try loosening and tightening the pivot point a few times, then just playing with it. Mine had a few issues that were resolved from doing that.
Hey everyone,
We have just been informed that our order of 1556TI Cryo II Folding Knife has been shipped out by Kershaw.
We have already alerted our warehouse staff about this shipment, so we should be able to process the bulk shipment upon arrival, and repackage them into individual orders before shipping them out to everyone very quickly.
We are expecting to have these out to everyone within 24 hours after the shipment arrives. Cheers!
Eric.GNo, assisted opening knives are classed under flick knives which cannot be imported without a permit. Which is odd because machetes/bayonets and katanas are all allowed, but a folding knife that you can open single handed, nope that's where we draw the line.
Hey Guys,
These are on their way from the vendor and are scheduled to arrive 9/19 barring any delays en route. We will update the group as soon as these arrive.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/19 or sooner if something comes up.
HassanSNow you only need to explain why the knives did not ship on the 11th like we all agreed to when we purchased them but instead were delayed until the 15th and now the 19th.
The spring on this knife just broke. I have been opening it frequently but have not done anything that it was not meant to do. I am not sure if there are replacement springs that can be bought. on Kershaw's website they state that they have a lifetime warranty. I am not sure if buying through Massdrop would affect anything in regards to warranty.
SlamsKershaw sent me a bunch of Leek torsion bars after I asked. They'll probably send you Cyro ones if you ask or ask you to send it in. Or you could ask Massdrop for a replacement.
and yet people complain when there is no international shipping. Seriously, the entire point of this site is to get a good price, and waiting is part of that. If you don't feel like waiting then pay more at some other place. I am fine waiting for an excellent price. I waited nearly 2 months for my carbon fiber X wallet from elephant wallets, but I also got a very good price for something that I don't need right away anyway. People's impatience amazes me.
