hey guys, those of you who purchased the pro330v2, I wonder whether you are happy with them after the 2y since the drop or would buy them again :)
I'm currently considering to order them so I'd love to get some feedback from you since you guys were using them for already some time. Sonically I'm mostly interested in resolution, mid range quality and presence, treble detail and soundstage. I simply love clear, airy sound with perfect vocals :).. I guess I'm the opposite of what people call bass-head. Do you think these would work fine for me?
Thank you in advance guys!
Hey. Had the 330V2s for about two plus weeks. Simply outstanding. Right now I'm listening to a Japanese recording of Wayne Krantz - Two Drink Minimum. Absolutely stunning sound!! Thank you.
David
Just arrived!! Looks very sexy, sounds.. extraordinarily!!! :)

Any updates on shipping date?
Hello! I have late to order... Damn... What was the final price for ca330v2?
Hi. I sent out the ear impressions over two weeks ago - closer to 3 weeks. I have pinged Piotr about 5 times and heard nothing. Anyone else having a similar experience?

I am still waiting for the IEMs as you, but I think it's normal for this type of product. However, I had no problems to contact Piotr, indeed I exchanged many emails with him and he always answered in a few hours.
JackYak
Hey JackYak! Definitely let us all know when you get them and what you think of them!
Yeah, I really wanted to get in on this but didn't make it in time. Been researching for months and the 330v2 is what I want my first CIEM to be.. but that full price on top of the audiologist fee is just brutal. :(
I really hope another drop for these happen soon. I've been meaning to get a ciem for a while now.
FYI the customart website is down and the email you've given is bouncing.
Aunder
CustomArt's server just went down for a bit, so website+email will be down as well until they get it back up. Sit tight!
Aunder
Our email server is back and running. Sorry for inconvenience, we took appropriate measures and hope this won't happen in future.
Thanks for participating in the CustomArt Pro 330v2 IEM drop. We managed to sell out of our allocation of the CustomArt Pro 330v2!
Here's the step of step list of what you need to do to get your custom IEM made:
1. Contact Piotr at CustomArt (info@thecustomart.com) about your order. Piotr already has a list of the member participating in this drop along with the order detail, so it will be a very quick and straight forward process.
2. Once Piotr confirms the order, see an audiologist to have your ear impressions created or create impressions via a DIY kit yourself. Getting help from a professional audiologist is the most preferred method, as the definition of the impressions from DIY kits are often insufficient for what CustomArt requires.
If you decide to use an audiologist for the ear impressions, please be sure to have make each impression past the second bend, full concha (for detachable cables it is advised that there's a lot of overlaying material on impressions around cymba and crus helix part), mouth open with bite-block. Impressions have to be made from soft silicone material. Dreve, Egger or Westone brands are recommended.
3. You MUST also take a picture of the ear impressions and send to info@thecustomart.com.
4. Once the impressions are confirmed by CustomArt, you can ship the impressions to:
CustomArt Piotr Granicki Pulawska 28.36 05-512 Warszawa Poland
5. For customers outside of Poland, please declare the value of the impressions as $10 and not the value of the IEMs you will receive. This is because the impressions are actually of negligible value from a customs perspective and if over valued CustomArt will be charged duties.
6. It will then takes a few weeks for CustomArt to create your own pair of the IEM based on the impression.
7. Once the CustomArt Pro 330v2 IEM is completed, CustomArt will ship the finished IEM to you directly via UPS Express from Poland.
If there's any questions or feedback at any point throughout this process, please feel free to reach us any time at by clicking contact support button in your transaction page.
when will we receive the e-mail with instructions? :)
JackYak
As soon as Mass Drop confirms all the payments I believe!
Hey Guys, Thank you all for participating in the drop I'm really happy to see it went so good. Speaking for me and my team we can't wait to start working on your IEMs :)
If you have any questions, want to discuss your design etc. send us email to info@thecustomart.com we will be happy to help you
Thanks, Piotr
Hi~ I am interested in how to design my Pro 330v2?
Soon cool!
YAY! SO PUMPED! ASKGSADGLASDGJHJKSADGHSADKGJHASG!!!
I'll definitely leave a report. I have emailed back and forth with Piotr several times. He has been responsive and super helpful. All the best.
Sorry that happened. That's exactly what I was worried about. That I would lose out. Better luck next time. David
madhockeydad
No worries bro. Report back when you get them.
Ugh literally plugging in order info and someone beat me to it... oh well I'll wait for these to come around again.
Do you have any pics of the organic faceplates?
Hey. I just signed up to put us at 10!! Congrats to the team. I am very psyched. David
madhockeydad
Awesome, thanks for your support! Piotr's great to work with and has top-notch customer service, I'm sure you're in for a treat.
Come on.. just another one :)
HI
How would I order the following (saw this on the Facebook page - it was a Harmony 8 picture)
sky blue, blue organic faceplates. How to oder the "blue organic" faceplate? What is blue organic - silicone? Can it have theCustomArt in black on it?
madhockeydad
Once you hit Join Now, you can customize the options to your liking :) And if you're not sure about exactly what the wood types are, you can see the different finishes here: https://www.facebook.com/thecustomart/photos/pb.223884597732369.-2207520000.1422698219./669306963190128/?type=3&theater.
If you're still not sure, at least pay for the wood option (as they all cost the same) and then you can discuss with Custom Art the exact specifics. Yes, you can have theCustomArt in black on it! Once you join, you can customize it to your liking (colors, finishes, artwork, detachable cable or not, etc...).
madhockeydad
Oh, right ...we forgot to include this option in the drop page. Organic faceplate is specially cured acrylic with some type of grass embedded in it. We have it in blue and green other colors could be possible as well. Please simply select wood or CF option here on massdrop and make sure to send us email and add a note to the package about it.
Thanks!
hmm I think the comment I replied to was taken down, but I'm leaving the reply up anyway! yeah that whole Canadian dollar thing is unfortunate - well if you do decide to go for it, you won't be sorry!
I was looking at the custom art music one's earlier in the year, but felt it wouldn't be enough of an upgrade for me, making this the perfect choice at the significantly reduced cost. Sadly with the Canadian dollar at 80 cents USD, and $50 usd shipping, I really can't afford it. If this drop occurs when the Canadian dollar is back at level i'll be sure to join.
Fantus
I'm in the same boat, was ready to pull the trigger then I looked at what my total would be in CAD and just couldn't justify it. It's tough being Canadian sometimes, eh?
I know it's early, but did anyone receive their CustomArt IEM from the last drop? Impressions?
Do you have instructions for the Audiologist CustomArt?
Aunder
Hey! Here are the instructions (I took it from an email I got - I ordered a pair from Custom Art directly).
"Thank you for your order.
Please now visit audiologist who will take your ear impressions. Ear impressions have to be made past the second bend, full concha (for detachable cables it is advised that there's a lot of overlaying material on impressions around cymba and crus helix part), mouth open with bite-block. Impressions have to be made from soft silicone material. Dreve, Egger or Westone brands are recommended."
Bluejay
great help. thanks!
Hi everyone! I just committed to join but I'd like to know, how long is the cable?
JackYak
Hey Jack! Thanks for joining the drop. CustomArt can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's 48".
JackYak
cable is 55" (140cm)
Hey everyone! I don't know if MassDrop internally handles this, but I'm not sure if the commit to join at $399 will work. Because that price gets unlocked at 10 units, and there are only 10 units available. So I'd say it's only a $10 difference; just join now! :)
Bluejay
Hey Bluejay,
There's no problem with committing to join, so long as you're one of the first 10 people in the drop you'll receive said discount when 10 units are hit.
Danny_Liu
Oh perfect thanks! Haha I was just worried about the guy who committed. Can't wait to get these!
ahhh I want to join this drop so much!! It's at such a low price, but the AUD is tanking so badly (it'll end up costing over 600AUD) and I already have 3 IEMs on the way T_T
how long will it approxly take to produce and ship after drop deadline?

I'm hesitating between this and ue 5
shawn24
Get this! I've been researching a whole bunch of different IEMs and losing sleep and I settled on these :P Why do I think you should get these? 1. They are silicone. That provides higher isolation and better fit than acrylic (they'll literally disappear in your ears). 2. They're about $400 plus shipping and they've been compared to IEMs way outside their price range (I'm talking $1000+). 3. They're on Mass Drop :) 4. The founder/owner of the company, Piotr, is just amazing. He does just about everything, and if you have any questions or concerns he does some of the best customer service I've ever seen!
Now I know it seems like there's nothing "wrong" with these, but the thing is, these are at such a high technical level, that most differences here on and out will be subjective, sound signature preferences. You won't be disappointed :)
What is the cost of getting your ear impression done in usa? I am in Seattle area.
Nitin
Typically $50-$100. Make sure you print instructions from the company, because some require certain ear areas to be fully molded or a certain type of material to be used.
