Homemade PCBs yeah! Now we're talking! :P
Are you familiar with Swill's plate builder app? It's pretty awesome for projects like this...

lectral13Thanks! For me, this layout would be a best of both worlds option, if I can make it happen. It's a relatively compact layout, but it uses standard sized keys for the primary layout, and doesn't sacrifice important keys. Even the modifiers are normal sized, and the right shift is the huge standard one (I think 2.75u)... I'd consider a smaller shift, to let my arrows have a small gap, but I want to save my Wingman pack for my Kerbal controller. I DID read someone using their non stepped caps lock key as a right shift on a 75% layout before, so I'd consider that. I STILL hit caps lock inadvertently when I press A, and the Mac keyboard I use HAS a mild step already! I can't step my caps lock hard enough! Anyway, the top gives me a full compliment of function keys, which I do use for various Mac things and for game related functions (saving, loading, screenshots, etc). I like my keys to be clear and upfront. I almost bought a Matias Mini Tactile Pro for Mac... I probably WOULD have, had I not see this awesome keycap set and decided, meh, screw store bought! :P
The Matias is made for Mac, even has the Option and Option+Shift symbol legends on the keys. Sadly, it's Alps style switches, and thus no awesome keycap sets for it. Still... With ANY keycap set, I'd have lost the unique Mac specific symbol legends. It is pretty hard to beat these retro double shot keys, the awesome colors, and DANGER ZONE!!! I mean, come on! It's a keyboard, that says "danger zone"! That's gotta be at least on par with complete symbol legends! Probably... :P

Is this plate a matrix style layout? Are there pics, cause I'm not seeing any. A standard layout for the keys is high on my list of things I want, cause I have no interest in learning a bunch of different layouts, or having one keyboard that doesn't "feel" like my others. I'll look into this when I get home from work.
I'm just rather confused, cause I can't seem to find a link or image describing that particular item at all.
Also, etcetera, the Function key colors was already noticed in an older post, and was determined to be a render error, which is being worked on. The colors for the function pack are shown backwards from what they really are, and will be correct in the final order.
