Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Edit; also seems somewhat unbalanced, slightly heavy to the left.
Mullards/Sovtek stuff might be good choices for the power tube depending on choice but expect to spend more money and possibly get coloration you don't want. The output tube doesn't need to be as special and should be as clean as possible. Humming moving between channels or not going away can be the fault of cheap/underspec 6SN7s. Not all tubes were meant for hifi - go into your purchases knowing this and you'll save money in the end.
