Can we please stop dropping socks and move on to something more interesting, like f.e. backpacks?

lesovikLoving the socks! Hoping MD can bring in other brands of similar quality. Active individuals require quality foot protection, period. I cannot believe how many people I see on the trails still lacing up with socks from the dollar bin a KMart. Their feet must be close to gangrene by the end of their hike / activity.
I started wearing only smartwool for literally everything 20 years ago, and can never go back to cheap blends, "dress socks" or especially cr*ppy cotton (ugh). Since the market started expanding I have been very happy bringing misc merino & advanced "active" offerings (including Darn Tough) into the mix over the past few years. DT socks are fantastic! I usually burn through a couple pair of ski socks in a season or 2 and my DT's still look like the day I purchased them after 150+ days. At these prices they are worth the "boring" drop.
