I've been using a Das Model S for years at work, and a WASD Code Clear at home, and always thought "Would be cool to have the look/finish of the Das with the awesome Clear switches of the Code..." I'm so disgusted with myself for having missed this drop! I hope they bring it back!

breadstickHow do you think the overall feel of the two boards compare? I currently have a WASD Code with clears at work and debating picking this up

n0meh9I think the stock keycaps on the Code are kind of thin and not great; they tend to make a "ping" sound. I replaced mine w/PBT caps from Vortex. The stock caps on the WASD are ABS, but they are a nice, thick plastic with a good feel. Both cases are very robust and heavy, with excellent weight and feel. I love both.

breadstickI actually put the white vortex pbt caps on my wasd code also. The ping is pretty noticeable but not sure if it bothers me. I'm used to the nice solid feeling from my pok3r at home but I still enjoy typing on my code. It's tempting but I should really pass on the das. I've spent enough on keyboards since the new year. Thanks for the response.

n0meh9Had both. CODE is better. Caps on both need replacing. The connected cable kills the DAS in my eyes. the glossy finish isn't to my taste, but chalk that up to preference.

teeseeuuGlad to hear. I was pretty decided in my decision not to pick up the DAS but it's nice to feel even better about sticking with the code

n0meh9Also have the WASD and this DAS model creams it in spades.
Solid keyboard with the extra media controls which I LOVE to death. Having the extra USB 3.0 hub on this keyboard is the icing on a Fat-arse cake, worth enjoying ; )
