Andrew_NY+1. At this price point (MD or MSRP) why wouldn't you just pony up the difference and grab a Seiko?

spinlpsDepends what Seiko you're talking about, but I'm a Seiko fan and I find nothing compares at this price point. Take the SKX for instance. Advantage to this Deep Blue vs. the SKX: - Sapphire vs. hardlex - handwind hacking NH36 vs. basic 7s26 that is also used in Seiko 5s - Orange minute for legibility, where applicable - gorgeous sunburst dial and many colour options vs. flat black, dark navy, yellow and orange dials - higher depth rating if you care about that sort of thing.
I own several Seikos and still love my Deep Blue.
