How much sound does this leak? Any? I would be using these in a collaborative open office sitting close to people. I'm not familiar with how semi opens leak. Thanks
beaglebandThe pads seal really well. I think you will be very happy with the isolation it provides. Just keep in mind you need an amp to drive these (Planar Magnetic needs a lot of power to kick).
beaglebandThe pads seal well, but the headphone itself is semi-open. It won’t leak much though, less than an earbud. Very quiet. I’d say certainly it won’t leak enough to disturb in an open office environment where people will be typing, talking, rustling papers and pens, but someone literally right next to you would know something was playing if they listened for it.

dekoniyou think a lg v30 wouldnt be enough?
SuperSaviorThe LG V series have nice DACs, but their amps aren’t super strong (would have a fairly major impact on battery life). Also, the Blue’s cable is terminated in the larger 1/4” headphone plug, too big for the phone. The Blue comes with a solid brass downsizing adapter to connect to 1/8” (3.5mm) jacks like the LG V30 has, and you would be able to hear it, but it’s not ideal... the adapter would be cumbersome with your phone in a pocket or bag (and frankly give a lot of bad leverage on your phone), and you would probably wish you could turn it up louder (and it would sound soft in other ways). The Blue is more of a home headphone... if you have an AV Receiver with the big 1/8” jack, you probably could use it with that pretty well.
