I am also very disappointed by this drop. The description said these are the newer versions with stronger magnets. However, I bought the Black, White, Green, and Blue boxes and only the Green and Blue boxes had the stronger magnets. The Black and White boxes were of the old version and had the weaker magnets. It was also very obvious as they came in the old packaging whereas the Green and Blue came in the newer packaging.
Also, just as @SteveManCentral said, they did not come with dividers even though the description explicitly listed dividers as part of the drop.

CryoSkydGood grief, they got you too huh? Yeah, lesson learned. If I ever see the newer versions available for sale in person at my local game shop at a good price then I'll buy more, as I actually like the blue & green ones. So all in all, buy local & support your local shop.

I just received my order of four today, & I must say, I'm disappointed. I ordered a blue, green, black, & purple box but received a blue, green, & two black boxes. No purple as I ordered. On further inspection, I noticed the two black ones are of the old style with the weak magnets but the blue & green boxes are of the new style with stronger magnets. The immediate difference between the two types of magnets is that the new strong ones are in clear plastic boxes & the old weak ones come in red cardboard boxes. I guess I'll use the two black ones for something, maybe extra storage. It's not worth my time or the hassle to send these back so my advice is be weary when wanting to order from MD.

Still a mix of version 2 and version 1. Since they haven't changed in more than a year, it's clear they're stuck with inventory they can't get rid of and are dumping it on us. They might eventually work their way through the old inventory, but no way to know when since the product description obviously can't be trusted. Also didn't include dividers, so that was another straight up lie. EDIT: Massdrop customer support was very understanding and helpful, offering a full refund if I returned the drop, or a partial refund if I did not. Contact them! Massdrop is cool, DEX apparently isn't. @Bryan181 @dtolb

Looked promising but then checked the comments and the item description - hard pass on these! Will consider if MD can guarantee all rev. 2.

Disappointed with getting boxes with poor magnets and not getting the dividers. Also frustrated with MD showing "savings" then making the price almost equal to normal once shipping is factored in. I'm done here.

Quite upset with this. One of the four is the newer boxes. The old ones have poor magnets and poor construction. No dividers. Really disappointed in this drop.
