Quick Assembly, Quicker Movement

Part of DFRobot’s Education Robot Series, the Flamewheel is a two-wheel-drive DIY robot that can tread on most any terrain. Easy to assemble with just a couple screws, it supports Bluetooth wireless programming and can be controlled via the iOS app. The body is made from laser-cut linden wood and based on the Romeo BLE mini Bluetooth 4.0 microcontroller. Control the bot to move left, right, forward, and back at speeds up to a meter per second and distances up to nearly 200 feet. A fun project for the classroom or at home, the Flamewheel is a great way to learn about electronics and mechanical principles.
