Very satisfied.
I ordered 2 sets. They all look to be in good shape, can't wait to use them. Shipping in the plastic ziplocks needs to end though, no?

You should be sorry for the essay that I'm not going to read. I didn't want broken pins. Go screw.

no need to get angry and lash out. The concern was plastic zip bags aren’t strong enough to grant you no issues and all safe switches delivery. I’m also worried if all switches will come in mint shape since is I ship back anything it’ll coast me a lot to do so (time and money). Other places ship switches in a more appealing way rather than just a plastic zip bag

First ever switches bought, mainly for colour. Nice and soft and very quiet, very little wobbly in stem. Colours are very vibrant and that green pops! Sorry cant compare to others but feels lovely with a noticeable bump about half press.

Similar to Kailh Box Royal but more wobble, more pre-travel, less crisp, and wider legs
I'm reviewing the tactile 67g switch with the laser-ish colorway (teal-pink-purple). Mostly bought them because of the colorway and because I like the Kailh Box Royal switches. Initially I was quite disappointed, because it was difficult and needed quite some force to get them pushed into Millmax hotswap sockets — and it was the first switch ever I had these issues. Seems as if one of the switch legs is about 1.03mm wide and hence remarkably wider compared to only 0.85mm width (measured with calipers near the switch case) of Zealios switches which sit well in Millmax hotswap sockets. Subtraction of half a star to one star for that unexpected and not so nice property. I though have one keyboard, a Jerkin, with an acrylic thick 3mm plate where switch latches do not clip in and hence normal switches tend to pop out of the hotswap socket rather easily. So I took the occasion and made something working out of two problems:
  • With some force I pushed in Domikey × Kailh Cyberpunk switches into that board and the switches sat way more stable in there than any other switches I tried. (KeBo Arctos were even worse than Zealios with regards to popping out too easily.)
  • Unfortunately I seem to have needed or at least used a bit too much force as afterwards one complete column and one complete row of the keyboard was no more working. Had to fix that with two tiny wires from one of the affected switches directly to the Pro Micro.
Some more things which I'm not totally happy with, but which are acceptable:
  • I was aware of these things when ordering them (hence no star subtraction for these), but they might not be obvious:
The switches are not really the SA/GMK Laser colorway:
search
  • The upper case is way more pink-ish than the modifier legends of SA Laser.
  • The bottom case is more purple than than both, SA Laser modifiers and alphas.
  • And the teal of the stem is darker and a bit more green-ish than the SA Laser legends.
Not the biggest issue though as you only see the pink case part anyways — unless you use a clear acrylic plate.
  • The teal-pink-purple ones are not usable with per-key LEDs as the "window" for them is filled with pink opaque plastic. The green-clear ones work for SMD LEDs.
  • They have noticeable pre-travel and clearly more pre-travel than a Kailh Box Royal switch. Since pre-travel is kinda matter of taste, no star subtraction for that. EDIT: They're also less crisp than Kailh Box Royals.
  • They also have some noticeable wobble which seems to be more than a Kailh Box Royal switch. Another subtraction of half a star for the wobble.
So in the end, I'd give a bit less than 4 stars, maybe 3.5 stars, but Massdrop only supports full stars. Just 3 stars would be unfair IMHO, so I gave 4 stars. I would also recommend them to a friend who'd like to have a tactile switch with laser-like colorway (as there are AFAIK no other tactile switches in a laser-like colorway) unless they intent to use it with Millmax hotswap switches. I explicitly do not recommend to use them with Millmax hotswap sockets. No issues with them in Kailh hotswap sockets. They sit in there quite well. ADDENDUM: After using them for a few hours in a plateless MiniVan (yes, they're plate-mount and not PCB-mount) with Kailh hotswap sockets and SA Laser, they felt quite mushy. But this might come from being used plate-less. (I definitely need more plates for my MiniVans.)

XTaranI actually have some box royal purples I tested out on a sensor along with these and they are different enough on the bump to be considered more than just a recolor.

My New Favorite Switch
Take your 67g Zealios, my old go-to tactile, and make them a little crisper in the bump, get rid of all the stem wobble (oh believe me I tried films), and lower the pitch quite a bit. What have you got? These babies. I could not be happier. I ordered them for my new build, but I like them so much they are going to be going my current daily driver, while I wait for a second set of 90 to arrive. The fact that they are a match for my EVA 01 themed build and keyboards is just icing on the cake at this point. I bought these thinking they were going to feel like heavy browns.... not at all. There is no pre-travel, just like the famed Zealios. I would just describe the bump as a little bit sharper, so the tactile event is a bit shorter.. but nonetheless significant and satisfying. I like lubed browns for long days at work, but these have so much tactility, it is excellent. For all you gamers. That is where these really shine. I would say that the bump/ weight is a little too much if I was going to be doing a job where I type non-stop all day... BUT for gaming oh baby. So much feedback on every press... and when you are holding down a key to run or whatever the stem is rock solid thanks to the box design. The sound was another pleasant surprise. I am using them on a GMMK Pro with the PE mod, PC plate, and no other foam. The THOCK is real. My Zealios hit the pitch I love only on the F row, but these are so much deeper and sound excellent on any row. It is too late to finish lubing them all right now, but they are on the left side of the board right now and I am stopping for the night and when I came to order my second set I had to stop by and leave a review.

Good but different in its own ways!
The switches are great. They feel crisp to me compared to my lubed MX browns, they are very vibrant as everyone else mentions and they are exact match to the displayed color! They fit very snug in my ALT high profile and they are not easy to install and remove; some pins might bend during installation because it’s not as easy to install as cherry MX’s (in my case). Some pressure will be required but I guess that’s the price for this beauty ;) they match really well with my Mito Laser keyboard/keycaps. id prefer if they were shipped inside a box rather than an envelope on a plastic bag.

DeiDeiAs far as I am aware, Mito has made SA and GMK for the laser theme. Maybe you can head to his Instagram and ask him if he ever made it in DSA or if he ever plans to

Pretty good colorway of Box Royal
Honestly, I'm mostly in for the colorway. The tactility is quite good (regular Box Royal) and they sound quite nice and thocky with some thicker caps (SA 1976 here). It doesn't really benefit from any lube as the box type switches in general don't have the surfaces for it, though you can get rid of the minimal spring noise by lubing that (honestly don't notice it either way). The last downside is the lack of RGB compatibility of any kind. There's some minimal translucency through the plastic, but that's not going to show much unless you have clear caps.

Not great, not terrible (62g)
Just got these in 62g and I gotta say, they could be better. The balance of the tactile bump is off. The bump is too prominent compared to the spring force. It's also quite short, so that after the bump, there is still roughly half of the travel distance to go. This also results in a late feedback on the upstroke which is not ideal for typing, IMO. I could see these being much nicer with the 67g spring, so I may try a spring swap. Besides the feel, the quality of the switches looks good. They are smooth enough and have little key-wiggle. All in all, I prefer the Everglide Dark Jade Blacks over these.

Very high quality, partly ruined due to DROP's poor communcation.
Keys are exceptional in finishing and operation. Probably the first keycaps I haven't needed to pre-lube before use. Company customer communication and support during difficulties from 2020 COVID-19 pandemic results in this losing 2 stars (that is me being generous). DROP beyond the initial ship announcement completely stopped all communication with community of interest when in the past any sort of delay/logistical anomaly would be communicated. Also had reports from some customers wishing to cancel their orders per normal DROP process & the limited communication were flat out refused when support tickets were open. Company has completely become out of touch with the ideas it was founded on. Would buy more of this specific product, but not from DROP.

Set your expectations correctly and these are good.
These are recolors of box royals. As a switch, it is very tactile, and apparently becomes almost clicky over time. The bottom out sound isn’t the thockiest, nor is this the smoothest switch. Lubing these switches is nigh futile. Coming to terms with these things, I still enjoy these switches. They’re fun and colorful. They probably wouldn’t be the best for a first enthusiast keyboard, but these have earned a spot in my rotating keyboard selection.

Great For Typing, Not Great For Gaming
UPDATE 1-14-2021: Upon closer inspection, it appears as though these switches are pre-lubed on the spring perch and the "leg" of the stem. If you do lube these further you really only need to do the sides of the stem and that's it. I purchased the Purple/Green colorway with the 62g springs. Used them in a Skyloong GK68XS w/PBT Pudding caps, un-lubed and with no modifications to the board. The colors on these switches are super vibrant and should make for a really fun-looking build; be sure to get the green colorway if you want maximum RGB shine-through and the pink/blue option has an opaque housing with minimal shine-through if that's something you care about. Unlike other box switches, you can lube these safely as the bottom housing has the hole at the bottom of the spring perch sealed. That said, the only reason to lube these would be to address any spring ping you may experience, or if the tactility is a touch too harsh for you. At stock mine exhibit minimal spring ping when bottoming out, and the switch itself actually does feel pretty good without lube. I lubed/filmed one of them with G-Lube and KBDF clear polycarbonate switch films; mostly just a slightly softer tactility, but smoothness goes up from where it already was, which was great to begin with. Really tight tolerances on basically all switches in my pack so films are only really needed if you want to shift the sound profile of the switch a bit, but you will want to keep an eye on any switches you film to make sure they don't develop stress cracks from that tight fit. They sound pretty thock-y in the keyboard I have them in RN, but then there's no insulation in the GK68XS at stock so that may change with some sorbthane or neoprene. Next to no stem wobble present. Tactility is extremely sharp and pronounced, acting sort of like pressing a ball-point pen through paper: initial resistance, then it breaks and you can travel freely the rest of switch travel. The tactile event starts basically right at the top of switch travel; there is an extremely small amount of switch pre-travel, maybe half a millimeter, but that's it. For general typing this is great as it keeps me from accidentally pressing certain keys. For gaming, the tactility is super annoying and I pretty much immediately end up moving back to either of my other boards (currently using lubed/filmed Gat Yellows and Halo Trues on different boards); the tactility makes it such that if you wanted to land more precise button presses you have to press the switch harder than normal, making gameplay feel clunky. They might be acceptable if you prefer more slow-paced games or are in general a slower-paced gamer, but if you want good tactility in gaming I'd suggest something with softer/rounder/broader tactility. In general I'm happy with my purchase and I can definitely see where someone would want to use these in a build, just make sure you're prepared for a ton of tactility in your switch! If it ends up being a bit much, thinner lubes like G-lube are a nice choice for gently lubing the switch to make the tactility a bit more tolerable and getting those cleaner tones and movement out of switch actuation.
