The two player tutorial game is ridiculously poorly constructed and impossible to win. With that said, I'm interedted in trying it out with more to see if it balances at all, but I wouldn't recommend with two.
DupeyI found that it really brings all mechanics and strategies into the fold. It is less linear than one might expect for a tutorial. While I agree with it being poorly constructed in some aspects, I do enjoy the difficulty as a prep for how I might overcome future scenarios.
BoozamnI meant when I said that it is impossible to win the tutorial with 2 players as it is written. The monsters overwhelm you to the point that you need to kill more than 1 a turn for the first few turns, which is impossible given the cards that you start with.
UselessFodderThat's my experience w/ Wrath of Ashardalon. I asked the same thing about D&D board/ card games. Seems they tend towards difficult. I've played without a few mechanics in that to make it survivable.
