I appreciate the TKL layout, the stock keycap set it ships with (almost latex-y surface, side legend shine through), and the sound profile. Opted for an ombre keycap set and the steel baseplate and holding out for metal faceplates. Only thing I miss from the sense75 is the rotary knob.
This was my first big boy keyboard. I have only been used to old membrane keyboards so buying this was a big step up. I mainly game so this keyboard felt like a whole new world to me. The yellow switches feel a little bit too smooth to me for gaming so I will actually be buying the CSTM65 with brown switches to try, while I bring over the CSTM80 over to the office.
This was my first mechanical keyboard - and I am a huge fan. I was moving from a simple laptop keyboard so it was a massive leap and took some getting used to. I can't believe I took so long to treat myself right by having a decent keyboard. Huge fan of the simple customization options. I am not an expert by any stretch, but this makes getting into customizing your keyboard a breeze.
I love to change up my keyboard once every few weeks to get a fresh look. This board is perfect for that, I love the changeable top plates, they are at a good price too. I bought the overgrowth and the white plate additionally.
I was extremely impressed with how good this sounded and felt straight out of the box. I'm usually team tactile but these yellows felt and sounded amazing. The keycaps also looked great. Would absolutely recommend this keyboard.
Everything feels great about this keyboard! Very customizable as advertised, and the drop software makes changing colors and button schemes incredibly easy
This keyboard is ready to go as stock! It sounds great, feels amazing too, switches and stabs are lubed enough.
Those keycaps - OMG, what a nice top finish, it feels very smooth, but at the same time, some kind of layer of "cloud" has been glued to them:)
I'm going to swap switches and caps with something I want to try, but I'm going to miss that feeling:)
RGB works great with those side legend caps, I think it helps if you are not a touch typist.
Really good work, Drop, really is!
Great keyboard, quiet, and key travel is a tiny bit shallower than you might be used to
Travel is a bit shallow compared to Cherry Browns but other than that it's a great keyboard. It's amazingly quiet due to its heavy construction.
I'm very happy with it. The programmable firmware is an interesting feature, too.
*UPDATE:* After a few months I've had to change my typing style slightly because CApitalization OFten DOes THis. IT's not the keyboard's fault, though, I think it's the fault of my stiff pinky finger on the shift key. Other than that it's an amazing keyboard that I highly recommend.
