Board looks even better than the photos. I paired it with Cherry Blue switches and Piifox Cyber caps. The deep purple color really is unique and helps the caps stand out more, and the north facing RGBs are not a problem with the translucent caps. The board definitely is heavy as others have said, and makes for a good anchored feel when typing for work.
A solid case, heavy and premium feel. The purple/plum color is subtle and distinctive. 3-pin switch sockets do limit switch options if you don't like clipping.
I love the colorway and how it matches my purple gradient keycaps (from Amazon.. I know)! I will be modding this with case foam for sure and Drop Phantom stabs!
This barebones feels premium, the aluminum case is heavy and durable. The rgb looks nice even with the north facing leds. Took a little time to get it to work with signalRGB but in the end it all looks super nice.
This is probably the heaviest keyboard I have ever bought. Feels great and sturdy for typing and gaming. I love the muted purple tone and the rgb strip goes great with a clear wrist rest.
Love the weight of this board definitely feels premium to me, RGB is very nicely implemented and looks great regardless of colors being used.
Have a few minor complaints, primarily the lack of included foam at this price point when i can get cheaper prebuilts that feel nearly as solid that have it included (other keyboard is a full sized Tecware Phantom+ and that came with a ton of foam/prelubed switches and cost less than half of this barebones kit). The other thing is i feel like at this price it really should accept 5 pin switches. Nothing that cant be addressed easily but i mean. Those are my main gripes.
Otherwise it looks great and with a few mods can sound great too. Added some pre cut foam around the keys and some poron foam under the switches, as well as a mix of Drop Skylight Purple and stock black Tecware key caps and clipped/lubed a set of Kailh Box Royals to fit and im very happy with the result.
