I haven’t used this much yet, so I can’t speak to its durability (but is seems to be well constructed). However, it holds my 96% sized keyboards perfectly. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Bought this for use with SHIFT. As someone else already mentioned it’s a little tight and there’s some overhang, which was shown in the product description. What’s slightly annoying for me though - and it’s possibly just an OCD thing - is that the overhang means that some of the Velcro hooks are exposed when the flap is closed. I imagine this area will pick up lots of fuzz and fluff over time.
Quality is decent overall - i haven’t found any missed/weak stitching yet and the interior feels plush. Exterior reminds me of laptop case material and feels fairly durable. Not sure how much protection it would provide if dropped though - other cases (the Keychron ones for example) might be better for impact protection.
All in all though a decent buy - whilst not a perfect fit for the SHIFT, it’s an excellent fit for my GK96.
Good product. Recommended. Fits Vortex Tab 90 and Kono Kira with Cherry profile caps. Not sure if those boards will fit with taller caps, but probably would.
josh_bTab 90 or Tab 90M? I'm trying to determine how my Tab 90M (w/ /dev/tty caps) would fit in it. Do you have a photo w/ your Tab 90 in it? Greatly appreciated!
Good case. A little bit of a tight fit with the SHIFT - closes just fine with the stock caps but if you were using high-profile caps like SA or MT3, you may end up with keys pressed when it's in the case
Has decent padding and fits my 75% keyboard. I like its clean design and lack of large branding unlike what you find on Amazon. Just a tad pricey for what it is.
I was looking for a case for when I do need to travel with my my Drop CTRL and why not go with the one that Drop sells. It has a nice felt liner and a pocket for the cable. Looks like it will do a good job of protecting my new mechanical keyboard.
