Product Description
Based on community feedback from our first standing desk, the Drop Lift Sit-to-Stand Desk, this updated version features dual motors with a three-stage telescoping frame for faster and quieter operation. It also has four built-in memory modes as opposed to just three Read More
I purchased this desk slightly before the lockdown. I didn't have plans for it, as I bought just frame. I didn't look for tabletops for awhile. But then lockdown happened, all stores closed and I had to start working from home. So quick google search and I found Hon Foundation tabletop (HONLMW6030PNC) and got it delivered quickly. Assembly of the frame was fairly easy. Remote control is very nice. Motors are quite enough. Been using it for more than 1.5 years and very happy. Recommend!
I've had the desk frame for more than a year now, and I've been very happy. I easily mounted an old Ikea desk top to the frame. The desk controls work well, with an occasional hiccup where the legs need to stop, move back a bit to reset, and then the button can be pushed again to move the desk. But for the price, it's definitely worth it!
Great surface, the lifting mechanism works great, and you can set custom height profiles. It supports quite a lot of weight that I have on my desk, 4 monitors with arms, audio interfaces, mixer and bookshelf speakers.
Only downside to it is the edge molding along the outside of the wooden surface started delaminating from the bottom after interaction with my chairs arms. I had to use really strong tape to cover it and wrap under the table to keep it from fully delaminating.
I'm really glad I got it. It holds my monitor mount without issue, which broke my last (cheap IKEA) desk.
Having a good standing desk at home has been great
I bought the base only and attached a Gerton from IKEA. I've been using this for work for 2 years and it's been excellent. No issues with the motors, the base is solid, no wiggling as I type. Paired with a large solid wood top, this is the best home office desk for a total of $370. Easily rivals the $500+ options.
For the price this desk is well worth the money. The only thing that could deter me from buying another desk from Drop is the lack of choices for desktops including larger sizes and differing materials.
