For this DROP, not too sure why they are not offering the knife blade or multi-tool blade as an option; so I want to order the knife blade but also want the multi-tool but i don’t wish to order 2 different knives; just want to order the multi-tool blade. The description does say that you can remove them for airport and you can add keys, so it would make sense to have both knife blade and mult-tool available. DROP are you listening?

If you don't care for the key organizer and only care for the tool and blade, I would suggest having a look at the Sanrenmu 6050, excellent tool for the money.
Not an option at this time.

Looks like a bad place to grind out a seatbelt cutter/guthook(?), unless the idea is to discourage anything but the lightest prying.

LeoangerThey changed the picture. Maybe there is 2 blade options

I made a makeshift belt out of a sweatshirt string with mine yesterday, agree mightily on it being a great random task cutter

How is the multitool the same price as the knife!? That makes no sense at all. It should be at least a little bit cheaper than the blade. I swear, drop be on some shit with their price points. I thought the whole point of this site was to join in on a bulk buy to get a discounted price lower than MSRP. Am I mistaken about that!? Hmmm, no, I'm pretty sure that's what is supposed to be the main reason this site even began to exist. It seems they've been hitting the bong way too hard recently, and have forgotten their core values as a company. Yo Drop, give it a rest and lay off the grand daddy purp for a while! (And give me some of that sticky icky) Jeesh!

JediJonIf anything, it should be more. It takes more work to mill, grind, or just shape that piece than it would take for the blade. Steel is the same so they most likely use the same billet

JediJonDrop moved away from the bulk buy and price drop tier system a while ago. And their collab and Drop/Massdrop made products never had price tiers.

Is the knurling on both sides or just why? Photos show just one but doesn't make it clear in the description. I really hope it's both sides

MSQRDFrom the photos it is only one side. Usually you want it smooth on the clip side so you can actually slide the clip in place, or at least underneath the clip area.

bookworm13Correct, it's one side for the reason bookworm mentioned. It provides enough grip imo.

I've been using the Quiet Carry Shorty for a few weeks now and love it. I have used a few other key organizers in the past and have been disappointed with them all. The design of the Shorty allows the frame to pinch the keys and the screw has a unique locking system that provides confidence. The Shorty comes with extra screws, washers, stud extenders, and even a torx wrench. Every night while I'm relaxing I flip my keys in and out, hundreds of times, testing if the screw will back out and its is still tight (with no locktite ).

This is available on the Quiet Carry site for $68 plus tax and shipping, comes out a few bucks cheaper than here and you'll probably get it sooner. Plus the ones available on the manufacturer site doesn't have the rough finish on one side.
