Don't sleep on this amazing Keyboard.

I'm typing on this piece of art right now and it feels and sounds amazing. The build quality is beyond what I expected and every time I look at it It brings me Joy. It's heavy but not too heavy, solid, satisfying strong feeling. The keycaps and artwork on the case is so much better looking in person. You don't need to lube this, it sounds great out of the box, however I did with some krytox just in the housing and it makes the Holypandas sound and feel amazing. Like marbles in cream. I cannot express how beautiful and stunning it is seeing the gorgeous twisted elvish spread across the keys and the artwork compliments it so well. The keycaps feel solid and comfortable. They keycaps themselves are top notch and feel great. Not cheap at all and I know will last me and has a slight texture on them. Once again don't sleep on this and treat yourself. I love this purchase.

Lovely switches with glorious keycaps.

Just got the keyboard, but I can already say that I am absolutely in love with it. The switches are smooth and not that loud right off the bat, and the keycap profile takes very little time at all to get used to, along with the keycaps looking absolutely gorgeous. The board has some heft to it, which is a very good thing because it does not slide around at all on a deskmat. I can foresee many, many hours spent with this keyboard with much love poured into it. All in all, I am extremely happy with this keyboard, and may end up picking up the other two Lord of the Rings keyboards in the future, but for now I am just going to spend many hours with this one.

Looks amazing, functionally pretty plain

I'm a die hard LOTR fan and this keyboard looks right at home on my desk. The lights could be a little brighter and my dream would be if the black speech characters on the keycaps let light pass through, but it still looks great. I'm used to tactile switches, so it's a bit of an adjustment to get used to the linear switches. Some might like them more than I do. Some QoL additions like a volume wheel or USB pass through would be nice, but I knew what I was getting so I'm not mad about not having those. Ultimately, I recommend it as a collector's piece, but I'm not sure it stands on its own without the LOTR aspect.

Fantastic board

Super fun response on the keys that give way to a smooth action about 1/4 way through the full press. The tonal report is strong, loud, and full, a true omen of the dark lands that Barad-Dûr would be proud of. The board itself has a great weight to it, feeling very strong and durable while appearing soft, smooth, and approachable. I've seen some FAQs asking about the color profile, images below are closely matched to a standard off-gray office desk with fluorescent neutral-white light above, roughly 5100K.

Cool design, lackluster features.

The design is obviously the star of the show here, and it’s very well built. The keycaps dip inward, allowing your fingers to sink in. The switches are silent, but click, a nice compromise for shared environments. It comes with both accented and non-accented keycaps, with the non-accented pre-installed. The keycaps grabber that is included isn’t all that great at grabbing the keycaps. The backlight adds nothing to the keyboard other than allowing them to list another feature, but it’s better suited turned off. To turn it off, you press Fn + Down, but that’s the only intuitive shortcut. The other keyboard shortcuts are poorly placed and unable to be remapped, so be sure to keep the cheat sheet. Overall, it’s a nice keyboard, but you’re paying a premium for form, not function.

its a very nice looking and feeling keyboard idk why you cant change the leds in anyway its just white and no patterns or other colors like idk how drop or whoever actually designs and makes this thought white led would be good it doesnt match the rest of the color scheme at all but thats okay its still a great keyboard thank you

Solid feeling keyboard.

The keyboard was heavier than expected, which is great. The heft will make sure that it doesn't move on the desk. The keycaps themselves were also quite nice and didn't have any unexpected play, but we'll have to see how they hold up over time.

Great for keycaps

I'd like to preface this by saying read the TechPowerUp review for a very indepth analysis of this board. This is my first keyboard back into the world of MK. I've owned a Corsair K70 and while this keyboard looks and feels better, it certainly is lacking compared to building it yourself. I've had a chance to borrow 2 of my friends keyboards and having the ability to swap the switches and mod your board is critical to making it your own. I went into this strictly for the red accented keycaps which would have costed me the same to buy the trainers + reds versus buying the keyboard itself. Obviously it made sense that having a functional keyboard is preferable to not being able to type at all. The holy panda x switches are alright in terms of the typing experience but I would have much preferred Gateron linears, the stabilizers are good though. Not having RGB LEDs also limits this board by a fair amount and there are only 4 brightness settings. Although it might sound like I'm a bit critical of this board, its a nice affordably priced licensed keyboard.

Very cool for LoTR fans

This was a gift for someone else so I have limited knowledge. The keyboard feels decent from my limited use. I wish the background LEDs could be changed to red. But it is still very cool and they love it.
