Fantastic Keyboard
I was expecting to have to do some lubing or switch changes on this keyboard when it arrived, but it has actually become my daily driver. Fantastic set up and Drop did a good job throwing this combo together.

First non bestbuy keyboard
So this is my first non "gamer" clicky RGB keyboard. I have been using plain jane razer and other gaming brand keyboards with their clicky switches, glossy keycaps, and flashy RGB. The wife is actually the one who went down this rabbit hole first just not to long ago which brought me to this site which brought me to this awesome keyboard. The formfactor of a TKL is somewhat freeing giving me back some desk space without shrinking down to something extreme like a 60 The keycaps are something to get use to but after a little time brute forcing my way past the weird feeling now its so comfortable and nice the way the keys just let my huge shrek fingers just rest and find a place in each one even when tying fast its a really nice feeling. The color of the main keys look a little more bone white than the off white i was expecting but it fits with the keyboard well. The switches are something I havent experienced either, I have used clicky blues or mushy membrane all so far so this is a game changer. Being just as tactile as my old blues but being quiet as a mouse is awesome. It lets the keyboard click and clack on its own. The lack of RGB was slightly disappointing but without shine through keycaps it doesn't really impact the visual of it, the dwarvish door decal not being etched and shine through was a little letdown but understandable. 10/10 would buy again, if I didnt buy it already in the first place

Great Look
I'm super pleased with my keyboard. I added the Black Speech WASD keys for a bit of pop, and I like it! The only problem was when I went to lube the stabilizers, their were stripped screws all over the top plate. Hopefully, I was still able to remove them, and customer support offered to replace the screws and reimbursed them. All in all, happy with my purchase.

Fantastic keyboard!
The keyboard is defintely of fantastic quality, to the design and to the materials its crafted out of. It sounds good... a little loud though, but some people prefer that in a mechanical keyboard. To my knowledge it isn't pre-lubed, and it doesn't have RGB ligthing. But thats to be expected at this cost, and some people prefer to lube/re-lube their boards anyways. I, like my Dad, are fans of the LOTR series, and at first the elvish version caught my eye. But in the end I chose this one, as I preferred the more "toned down" colors to the bright colors of the elvish version.

Not a bad option for someone getting into mechanical keyboards.
There are some things I really like about this keyboard, and some things I don't like as much. Let's start with the good:
  1. The design - The fellas over at Drop really made something beautiful. I love the look of the keycaps and especially the simple design on the case. It's made out of aluminum, too. Which really gives it a premium feel.
  2. Detachable USB-C - This is what I would consider an absolute musts for a keyboard at this price. I'm happy with the fact that they use this standard.
  3. The keycaps itself - MT3 profile keycaps feel great for typing, they cup your fingers and draw you to the center of the board for a natural typing experience. I think most people would be really happy with this design. (Although, they would not be preferred for gaming. The design could potentially cause wrist strain.)
The not so good:
  1. Non see through legends. - This may not be a big deal to some, but the backlighting doesn't shine though the keycaps, making work in a dark room more challenging with keys you can't see. This seems to not be a big deal to most enthusiasts but a lot of people have come to expect it for keyboards with backlighting.
  2. The backlighting - The white backlight is a little dim, it's better than nothing but at this price you should expect a better implementation. RGB would've been better since that standard is customizable, most people wouldn't care about that, though.
  3. The switches. The switches that come with the board are great. Holy Panda X's are considered to be some of the best tactile switches on the market. But if you want a customizable board to your preferences, this is not the one. It's widely understood that in order to get the best sound and feel out of these specific switches they really, really need to be lubed. The factory lube is not adequate for (most) enthusiasts and since they're solderered to the board, you cannot remove them to do this procedure. This is a deal breaker for some.
It was a difficult decision but I ended up returning the board. I really, really wanted to love it and I do like it but the lack of customization was the deal breaker for me. I do recommend it but it would be more so for someone who would be happy with a "good" keyboard and have no desire to make changes to their preferences.

Nice on the eyes - subpar for the price and fingers
As advertised, honors the Dwarven-kin, but what you're getting is the novelty of the keycaps... Wish I made different choices. Beware of additional fees when outside of the US.... added another $20+ to the cost. The Good:
  • Tactile switches
  • The 'theme' of the keycaps
  • Slim case
The Meh' and bad:
  • Louder than it should be... and not in the good way.
  • Cheap feeling caps.
  • Premium for the licensing???
  • Not a pleasant experience
Could always mod - but given the soldered board and amount of effort to put in to it, there are better options.

Comfortable and clean
The depth and sound of the switches are good! The keyboard design is a bit small but functional and easy to set up. The sound has become one of my favorite features of the keyboard. Now I get mad when I’m not using that particular work station. The key cap art work is amazing. The only gripe I have is the LEDs on the keyboard pretty much do not shine through the caps at all. Bummer!

It's good for a prebuilt
The tactile switches for this keyboard feel great but are unlubed, or the factory lube (if it is factory lubed) is not great. The stabilizers are *okay* with the spacebar leaving a little bit to be desired. The fact that it is soldered and not hotswap is a bit of a dealbreaker for some but if youre comfortable desoldering then this keyboard has a lot of potential for improvement.
