I’ll preface by saying these are the first custom key caps I’ve purchased and I was very skeptical of the thought of artisan caps. 65 bucks a pop was pretty much my limit. I pulled the trigger cause I figured if I really hated them it was free to send them back. I popped out the both of the artisans I got and instantly knew I was keeping those bad boys.
They installed very easily for me on some cherry reds. I had bought a keyboard from a different company for the first time and I was a bit nervous it wouldn’t be exactly compatible. Luckily, everything was smooth sailing on the install.
a beautiful product and easy installation
The title sums it up; the cap is gorgeous!
My one minor gripe is the lack of shine-through. I wish there was at least a little bit to really make the eye pop.
I bought this keycap for my Drop + The Lord of the Rings Dwarvish Keyboard by Drop. Was an amazing edition to the themed keyboard. I currently use if for my ESC key and to be honest, out of all the keycaps I've purchased, this is the crown jewel of them all. If you get a chance to purchase, don't hesitate, get it!
So much detail packed into one little keycap. The keycap profile is SA I believe so it is a little bit higher than the other keycaps but for the most part it really is a nice aesthetic addition to the rest of the keyboard.
Looks really cool and adds some flare to my keyboard. Unfortunately for me, when I bought the keycap, I guess I was out if it because I didn't realize that I'd bought the morgul beast one when I wanted the eye of sauron. Pictures don't do it justice but its really nice in person.
