A reliable TKL keyboard with 87 keys, the Durgod Taurus 320 Nebula comes with your choice of Cherry MX switches, allowing you to get just the feel you want—whether you prefer a switch with some bump or a speedy linear feel. On top of the switches go the shine-through doubleshot PBT keycaps, which are backlighting compatible to enhance the colors you can program beneath Read More
This seems like a good alternative to the CTRL (which has a bloated price imo). Obviously, this does not have hot-swap capability and is all plastic...but those differences do not account for the $110 difference in price.
Great explanation, thank you for your time.
I think your comment would be highly appreciated in all the Massdrop keyboards talk sections because product photos and description don't offer the whole picture to potential buyers.
JadMaktabiI know this is a few weeks old, but keycaps are the actual caps you will be pressing, in terms of the colors they are mentioning, those are switches.

MX Blue

MX SilentRedI have already one of these keyboards with MX Red. I like it a lot and I want to buy a second one! But why on earth does Massdrop always exclude the MX SilentRed option...? This keyboard does exist with these switches, we can see that on the website of the manufactorer. Please Massdrop, this is the 3rd or 4th time I am asking this, can you please include the MX SilentRed option? Or at least tell me why you can't...
Copy Pasta from the none RGB drop 1 week ago... Same story, no Silent Red...?!
I already have one of these from a previous drop. I would like to buy a second one but sadly there is no Silent Red option, why is that missing? I know that this keyboard does exist with Silent Red (check other shops). Is it possible to add this option? I really hope for an answer, does not matter is the answer is no...
Finally RGB version of Durgod Taurus keyboard (I really like the design of the keyboard, very clean) but I want a full size keyboard (I use number pad daily), wish they offer a full size option.
CodeSeniI switched to tkl & a separate num pad & love it. When I don't need the num pad I can just slide it out of the way. Or I can move it to other side of mouse if I want. More flexibility that way plus you can get something fancy like the ducky num pad if you want.
I don't think I'll go back to full size kb, I prefer the separates by far.
radpoodleYea, I already got a custom macro pad on my desk with number keys on it also but I still like to have a build-in number pad on the keyboard. That way I don't need to carry 2 keyboards when I don't need that macro pad.
I have this Durgod board, the RGB version of it, and the Red/Blue led version. I got them all within the past year. I've noticed a very rare and random issue with at least two of the boards, this one then either the Red/Blue led or the non-led Taurus. It's only happened while gaming - but my keyboard will randomly, like, "lock up" and the last keys I pressed will just continually be held down (usually wasd) and no other inputs will work - I have to manually unplug and replug the usb cable back into the kb for it to go back to normal. This has happened maybe a total of five times over the year. It's extremely frustrating how random and rare it is. This has also happened with two completely different computers - one of which is brand new (i9 9900k), so I'm not sure if it's really a hardware issue on my end as there was no shared hardware between the two. Both computers were running Win 10. Any ideas?
IckzDamn you too? I have the non-rgb version and whenever i play overwatch, the keyboard suddenly locks up and I the key presses are delayed. Like If i press w for forward it will play like 3 secs later. Very frustrating.
IckzI had this exact problem with my other keyboard WASD V2, and it turned out that the usb-switch in my monitor was causing it. Try plugging your keyboard directly into your PC or just a different usb switch.
