This drop is a bit frustrating to me as I bought a Max series from DXRacer just last week at retail. They really are quality, the rocking might be a bit stiff but the build quality is absolutely superior. To be honest, I believe the rocking SHOULD be stiff, given that this is a chair designed to support people up to 330 pounds. As a big guy who's tipped over some looser chairs before, the resistance is appreciated. I picked it up because of it's weight rating and it just feels solid when I sit in it, even more so than the Herman Miller-style office chairs in my office. The reclining feature is also nice to find the posture you want to be sitting in based on activity: Aggressive for intense gaming, or more relaxed for watching videos.
My only real complain is that the casters are a bit wonky on my softer carpet, but that's a bit nitpicky considering I should have them on a mat anyway. Also, some people might find the fact that it promotes better posture to be a bit annoying when they want to slouch, but they can just adjust the seat to facilitate there slouch and be good as gold.
Finally, double-check that these come with warrantee, because DXRacer will not honor a warrantee from an unlicensed retailer.
