I got my chair on 07/20/2016. Shipping went well and I am glad nothing was broken. I am sorry to see that one of the guy here received a broken piece. E-blue need to work on the packing for sure. Almost everything is bubble wrapped and that is all good for some parts. Some parts come in boxes and there is nothing holding the boxes together and they stay in place just by the way they are placed in when they are packaged. I would like to see better care in the packaging specially since the only thing protecting the chair materia is a thin piece of carton and bubble wrap, any strong hit against something pointy that can pierce the box will go straight through it and can pierce the box, bubble wrap and your fabric.
Other than the packaging being very cheap. I was very impressed by the construction of the chair. Almost everything structural is metal. And I think actually everything structurally is metal. The bottom stand is metal, the wheels are plastic wheels but are silent, the gas tube is a class 4 and mine was made by ANDCO. The reclining mechanism is all metal or it looks that way at least externally from both the bottom and back chair pieces and the arms are made of thick metal. All the mechanism covers are plastic and they look good once installed.
Installation was a breeze. So easy, I used the box to help me attach the back of the chair to the bottom, if you are having problems pushing the back in to install the 3 screws you might want to try that and I attached a pic. I encountered a melted piece of fabric or plastic in one the mounting screw holes for the bottom mechanism of the chair. It made it seem like the screw wouldn't fit, I popped my phone and zoomed in to see the hole and took a pic and noticed what it was and removed it with a screw driver, after that the screw went right in. That was the only 'problem' I encountered.
I am a phat dude ok, 5'7" 300lbs and I fit on this chair no problem. It is straight so it is hurting my back a little but that is because of bad sitting habitas. The couching feel good so far, the back of the chair is helping me keep my back straight and the reclining angle is amazing. It stays in balance, it is a little scary going down but I went all the way down and back a couple of times and it feels good. All I need is a foot rest if i want to recline that far to watch my wall mounted TV.
For $200 this beats every chair I have bought in the past for this price range. I should of bought another one for my home office because any office chair in this price range doesn't have as many sturdy pieces as this chair has, or better gas tubes for that matter. I have no regrets about this purchase so far. I am glad I know my UPS delivery man and he always treats my stuff with respect but to get here it came a long way and man... knowing how it is packed, that is the only thing that really scares me. Other than that, for me, good job E-Blue and Massdrop and thanks for the drop!

MakkusuDo you feel like the side bolsters are too tight by any chance? I actually prefer the design of the cobra over the cobra-x, but I'm worried because I have huge thighs / legs lol.

NayatreiThey are a little for me because I am a fat man. I am 5'8" and around 300lbs so I am pretty thick, specially my legs and belt line. For me, not being able to 'spread out' has helped me with my posture since this chair is pretty straight. My legs/thighs don't feel sore after sitting here and I sit around 3 to 4hrs every night on this chair.
