Don't be fooled by the three-year warranty, it does not cover normal wear and tear, which is the reason the vast majority of IEM's fail.

killerrabbit1961Hi @killerrabbit1961 , Sam here from Echobox (Chief Commercial Officer), just wanted to respond to this quick :) Our warranty actually does cover "wear and tear", and in fact this is exactly what it is designed to cover! Wear & Tear is defined as "wear & incremental damage to the product due to normal, every day, regular use." For example, if you have a tuning filter that falls apart as you unscrew it from the earphone, this would be covered under the warranty and we would replace it immediately. If the cable starts to fray at the connection joining due to plugging it in repeatedly to a device, then this would be wear and tear to the product. If sound drops out on one channel of the earphone, this is wear and tear as well. If you are aggressive with your earphone and break it due to non-normal circumstances, than this is not wear and tear. If you submerge your earphone in water and it stops working, this is also not wear and tear. If you somehow cut the cable or rip one of the housings off of the earphone, this is also not wear and tear. Hopefully this definition helps! If you have any further questions you can always reach us at support@eboxaudio.com or by our online chat at our website www.echoboxaudio.com where we will be happy to assist :)

makethemusicI was basing my claim on an Amazon customer who posted a direct quote from your company that wear and tear from daily use was not covered. The customer specifically mention cable fraying as the issue and was told it was not covered. Perhaps everyone at your company is not on the same page.
