The holder is appointed with a knightly logo, appropriate for El Casco, whose name translates to “the helmet.”

Founded in September of 1920, El Casco was originally a firearm factory. When the economic downturn came in 1929 and the arms industry began to struggle, the company decided to expand its product line to include staplers and pencil sharpeners—and later, desk accessories. Despite modern advancements, El Casco’s products are still largely made by hand and each part individually numbered for assembly.
