Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 8/28. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/31 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Elevape SV and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/31.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/25.

Dear MassDrop, The description states "Note: This drop is for the newest unit with the 134 firmware that adds 30% more battery life." Do these newest units also come with the 'stir-style' Magnetic cover? (the one shown in the video that has 2 built-in 'stirring prongs', but the product picture in the description shows the original non-stir cover).

Buzz I must politely disagree with you. I have the firefly and the elevape and IMO the elevape is much more efficient, easier to use and you have less of a chance of combusting. Not to mention the elevape is an instant draw vape and is stealthier and lighter (280grams firefly/168grams elevape). I only get 4 decent draws and 2 crappy draws off the firefly where I get well over a dozen delicious draws from the elevape consistently using less material . Once you have your temps set on the elevape, if you combust it is user error.

I got this vape a while ago when VN had it on sale. I don't use it much because you have to stir between each hit and its pretty easy to combust with even on low temps, but other than that its really fun and stealthy. You can bend the coil around though which helps prevent combustion but you have to be careful.

SammosjooThis is exactly how I feel. Mine is a bit inconsistent and combusts occasionally whether I am on high or low temps. I also have to stir very frequently which is obnoxious. I really don't use it much after the first month of use passed, I definitely prefer to use other portables. I did get a really cool photo with it at a Thunderbirds airshow though :)

About damn time someone made an instant heat convection herb pen. I hate the inconvenience of the current devices, where having a session forces you to move at the device's pace instead of your own.

Hey @Buzz ,
How do you like the Grasshopper? I am kind of interested in a first hand account and I realize you do numerous quality reviews of the latest vaporizers.

JaysunI like it a lot, for the price I don't think it can be beat, but they sure have had their share of delays.
