These little boards are a great value. They feel sturdy and well made, and don't seem to be hard on my knife edges like similar boards made of plastic or glass. They clean very easily, and seem as if they will last for a long time if well maintained. My only gripe is that they tend to slip and move during use. This is easily fixed by placing a rubber mat under the board, which I recommend if you're going to invest in one. I'm not sure I would choose one for my primary cutting board, but as a spare board or a swap-in cutting board for food preparation to avoid cross contamination of ingredients, I feel they are a great buy. Pros:

Sturdy and durable feel
Very smooth and easy to clean
Not damaging to knife edges

Cons:

Slips on smooth surfaces during use

Verdict: I'm happy with my purchase, and will buy more if needed.

StormPEIn a professional kitchen (especially with stainless work surfaces) I always put a completely moist rag under the cutting board to prevent it from slipping. It works.

I had a smaller version of this cutting board previously and the only reason I bought another one was so that I could have a larger space to work on. These bamboo cutting boards are tough, lightweight, durable, and cut resistant. Simple to clean and quick drying, I really couldn't ask for much more from a cutting board. Very, very happy with my purchase!
