I'm fairly new to quilting, but I love designing my own things. The first time I used EQ8, it was a little confusing without a user manual in front of me, but the next time it was easier. The program has a fair amount of different fabrics to choose from, and I love how it shows you the finished overall design, and will tell you how much yardage you need for each fabric! My finished quilt looked just like how they said it would look!

Love EQ8. It's easy to use, there are plenty of tutorials for some of the less obvious functions on youtube, and I have already used it to design a paper piecing block and a couple of quilts. Good purchase!

Disappointed
I was not aware that all of the extras were not included in this version. I will have to spend another $100 to get the support software in order to utilize the program to its full capacity
