Adding/Including Memories
I lost my dad last year (2023) and have been finding ways to include keepsakes/memories in my workstation. I've dabbled here and there with doing small woodworking projects and attempted a wrist rest from a piece of oak I picked up with him from my great uncles wood shop. I milled it to fit a 60% keyboard as I hadn't decided what keyboard I would be using it on and thought that's where most of my wrist would be in contact even typing on a full keyboard. I gave it a torched/burn appearance as I really was lost in what to do. I found an old shell casing from going hunting with my dad in my hunting pack and decided to imbed it into the end of the wrist rest so it would just have a little difference and a small story behind it as well. I have other things around my workstation from family and friends, but it just feels a little more special having worked on it and adding something small that has a memory for me to it. (Purple was my grandmothers favorite color and I have kinda now...

Would be nice to know these are similar in that regard, any first hand experience will be very helpful :)
If what you meant was Ergotron LX, its tech specs says it will hold up to 25 lbs, more than the Ergotech in this drop (17.8 lbs).
Weights of the monitors you mentioned (without stand): LG 29EA73-P: 11.5 lbs Acer XB280hk: 11.56 lbs
Weights of some 34" monitors (without stand): LG 34UM95: 14.7 lbs Dell U3415W: 18.6 lbs Samsung LS34E790CNS: 16.28 lbs
Dell U series are almost always heavier than other monitors with the same display size and it is less than 1 lb over the rated specification. So, I'm guessing most 34" will be in specification.
Part Numbers: FDM-PC-S01 (Silver) / FDM-PC-G01 (Metal Gray)
Tech Specs:
Monitor Weight Capacity: 8.4lbs - 17.8lbs Monitor Size: Any size within weight range VESA Compatibility: 75mm & 100mm Height Adjustment: 14" Extension Range: 24" Tilt: +90º / -45º Pan: 180º Rotation: 360º Max Desk Thickness: 2.5" Warranty: 3 years
Additional Features:

Good info though, very true. I always liked ErgoTech a bit more because of it's looks even though the functions are identical with weight limits and what not. Seems like you're participating in this drop, mind sharing which monitor will you be using? If you have any 34" Ultrawide that'd be awesome if you can report back later on once your receive it otherwise all good.
Thanks for your input on this, much appreciated :)
Good info though.
