ReticentI'd rather use the cold water and carry the extra weight of a couple clean ones (not a lot of weight to them anyway) than trusting 3-trimethoxysilylpropyloctade-cyldimethyl ammonium chloride straight on to that part of mye body, yes.

smgjFunny. I've actually worked with the aegis materials in the lab, mostly to develop odor reducing fabrics for mattresses, pet bedding and other relatively difficult to wash products. It works like a charm at reducing odors, killing bacteria on a wide variety of different surfaces, has been thoroughly tested on skin contact applications. Its actually covalently bonded to the fabric so it won't be entering your body any time soon. But hey, chemophobia is cool these days!
