The Charge is kind of a waste of money. It doesn't have heart rate. Just pony up the extra $50 to get the Charge HR.

TMSGthe light based heart rate monitors are, in general, not worth the trouble and expense. They are too inaccurate. The chest-strap kind is the one that works (most are ANT+, some are bluetooth). Most Garmins work with those, I don't know about this one.
