FitsokFound only one localby. I'll have to try them when I get the chance. Do these socks tend to fit on the tighter side? I noticed I'm in the middle of your large size 9.5 so I guess large will work or should I still try them?

How would these hold up for cycling use? Do the cuffs stretch out significantly over time and use? Or do they retain their elasticity and keep a tighter fit around the cuff?

@Heefty - do you have thick legs or thick ankles? I have thick calves and can't fit into skinny jeans and some high crew socks feel tight. But my ankles are I guess in the range of "normal" and these socks fit great. I find these have more stretch than the similar Darn Tough 1/4 Hiking socks.

DannyMilksBoth. I have big legs. I'll get the "Trail Cuff" so only my ankles should come into concern though. My ankles typically come in just larger than the high range of measurements when I can find them for similar items (see Dirty Girls gaiters for example). Socks don't usually have a size range for calf/ankle measurements so I can't say for sure there though.
Obviously I'm not overly concerned since I already joined the drop, but I'm not going to be incredibly happy if I find that they cut off circulation either.

What's the wool/poly blend percentage on these?

spotfire40/40/20 - We knit with Isolwool™, utilizing 40/40 blend of merino and polypropelene. To further move moisture, 20% is nylon. In the past we have made 100% merino socks, but didn't have the desired durability and moisture movement we wanted. We're really happy with this fabric and the construction. We think you will be too :)

This is my second order, I am not happy with this order as when I recieved the socks one pair had very large hole in the big toe so basically very expensive for two pair of socks!

Do the "crew" socks have more cushioning than the "trail cuff" version? And are the "crew" socks taller than the "trail cuff" version?

swimjay@swimjay - I know you're just being funny about this, so thanks for posting. I do want to be clear that this one was our fault. Our internal system failed to register the max units available in inventory. Fitsok tried to ramp up production but wasn't able to do so in time to meet our demand. However, I can guarantee you that we'll see another drop for their Isolwool socks soon enough. Thanks everyone for your understanding!
