$28 shipping?? So someone will personally deliver it and place it on my wrist?? Sheesh, the shipping costs just keep getting higher and higher and higher...

l3xm4rkI suppose the shipping cost depends on your location... It's $8.75 for me here in the USA.

DCullenVOh, Indeed. I'm in Australia but have bought a dozen or so watches from MD in the past. Shipping costs to Australia have ranged from $1.33 to about $15. Average has been $9.90 for those playing along at home. $28 seems....excessive.

l3xm4rkOK, I see your point. I wonder what would make this particular watch so much more expensive to ship to Australia than the others.
On the flip side of this, I am awaiting a watch coming in the reverse direction from Melbourne Watch Co. Purchased from MD and like this offering, the individual shipping cost is also $8.75 for the USA.

l3xm4rkI would also expect the delivery person to kneel as the watch is placed on my wrist. Back on point, love the design but the shipping cost.....
