"Fjällräven’s Ovik line of packs is constructed from G-1000—an eco-friendly, tightly woven, quick-to-dry blend of cotton and polyester." Pardon the ignorance, but what makes it eco-friendly? I own many cotton-polyester items and I don't think I've ever heard of the material being eco-friendly.

wiemerimerGood question! Their "eco-friendly" version of the G-1000 fabric is made out of recycled polyester and organic cotton.
